Whether you are applying for Greek citizenship, you are buying a property in Greece, or need to register with the Greek tax authorities, you will need an English to Greek translation service that you can trust.
I am both an Ionian University graduate and an approved translator by the Greek Consulate in London.
That means that I can issue certified translations in any of the two capacities, depending on what the Greek authority has requested.
Unlike what happens with other translators who are not Ionian University graduates, you can skip the Consulate legalisation step if the translations are issued and stamped by me.

Legalise your document(s)
Make sure that your English document has an apostille stamp before you send it to me for translation.

Email me your document(s)
You can scan or take a high-quality photo of your document, as well as its reverse side which shows the apostille, and email it to me.

Quote & payment
I will quote you and give you bank account details where you can make an online payment for the translation cost, should you decide to proceed.

Document translation
Translation takes typically 3-4 days. For urgent translations, please let me know your deadline and I will try to accommodate it.

Postage
I will post to you a printed official and certified translation with my seal and signature.
Legalisation of translation(s)
This step can be skipped because unlike other translators, I am an Ionian University graduate and my translations are accepted in Greece without the Greek Consulate legalisation. Please check with the Greek authority if the Greek Consulate legalisation is necessary when the translation is produced by a certified Ionian University translator. If for any reason it is necessary, you must take (or send) the translation to the Consulate for legalisation.

Q: Do I need to get my English documents legalised? If so, how? +
If your document is in English, issued in the UK or Australia, you will need it legalised before you get it translated. To do this, you need to post it to the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office for legalisation (which involves affixing an Apostille stamp), or the Australian High Commission.
Q: How much does the translation typically cost? +
It costs £90-£120 per document, depending on the text volume and the complexity of the layout. The cost includes the translation of the apostile and 1st class Royal Mail postage. For an exact quote, simply email me your documents and I will come back with a confirmed cost.
Q: What is the Consulate legalisation fee? +

Q: Do I need an appointment at the Greek Consulate for the legalisation of translations? +
No, you can just show up during the Greek Consulate’s opening hours and wait in the queue to be served.
